America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~

There seems to be the opinion the Al Qaeda is the single biggest threat to America. I say Bologna! Hezbollah is much more trained, funded and has a much larger and in your face following than Al qaeda has ever had, the only thing Al Qaeda has going for it is the name, and Osama Bin Laden AKA Cave dweller, He dares not to even show his face in public, while the leader of Hezbollah lives the life of comfort in Lebanon, thumbing his nose at the west and Israel.

In your opinion which of the terror groups is the most dangerous, there are so many to chose from:

Terror Groups

Abu Sayyaf
Al Fuqra
Al Gama'at Islamiyya
Al Muhajiroun
Al Qaeda
Algerian Armed Islamic Group
Algerian Islamic Salvation Front
American Islamic Group
Hamas
Hezbollah
Islamic Jihad
Islamic Liberation Party
ISNA
Jamaat e-Islamia
Jamaat ul-Fuqra
Mara Salvatruchas
Muslim Brotherhood
National Islamic Front
Yemen Islamic Jihad

all the above are known terror orginazations and are listed among known terror groups by American Intelligence.

Then there are the NATIONS that support terrorism, either sheltering them or financing them, giving them intelligence or arming them, Which Nation would you say is the biggest threat to America?

  • Flag of Cuba Cuba - Added in 1982 though no official explanation was provided. A 2003 report contended that Cuba supported terrorist groups during the period it was added to the report. Current justification cites support for members of Basque ETA and the Colombian Farc  and ELN groups. Conversely, Cuba has accused the United States of supporting, sponsoring and initiating Terrorism against Cuba since 1961. Those who oppose Cuba's retention on the list contend that Cuba has made repeated offers to the United States since 2001 for a bilateral agreement to fight international terrorism, but the United States has not responded Critics also argue that domestic political considerations are responsible and question many of the allegations made in the State department report
  • Flag of Iran Iran- Added in1984 According to the State Department, "continued to provide Lebanese Hezbollah and the Palestinian rejectionist groups—notably Hamas Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and the PFLP-GC —with varying amounts of funding, safe haven, training, and weapons. It also encouraged HEZBOLLAH and the rejectionist Palestinian groups to coordinate their planning and to escalate their activities."
  • Flag of North Korea NORTH KOREA- Added in 1988  Sold weapons to terrorist groups and to have given asylum to Japanese Communist League-Red Army Faction members. The country is also responsible for the Rangoon Bombing and the bombing of Kal Flight 858
  • Flag of Sudan SUDAN - Added in 1993 "A number of international terrorist groups including Al-Qaeda , the Egyptian Islamic Jihad, Egyptian Al-Gama's al-, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and Hamas  continued to use Sudan as a safe haven, primarily for conducting logistics and other support activities."
  • Flag of SyriaSyria - "provided Hezbollah, Hamas, PFLP-GC, the PIJ, and other militia organizations refuge and basing privileges."

At the risk of being shot down by a Bf 109 with blazing cannons, I would suggest that, at this time, the biggest threat to America is George Bush.

Hear hear! Let's go down on that flaming ship together!

The biggest threat to America is danielost with his misspelling and of course "Col Gene"!

Danielost is harmless, while colgangrene was an officer and is in my opinion a traitor.

Think about it: He is an invitation to disaster. He has done his utmost to make America unsafe by making it the most unpopular nation to two thirds of Earth's citizens. On top of that he is perceived as a warmonger who believes that the US is needed in conflict areas, in order to save the World. They are not needed, not wanted and incite hatred rather than peace.

I for one will not shoot you down, as your right in how the world perceives us and GW Bush

Nope I will never shoot someone down for telling the truth of things. I am a rational man that can see the mess George has made.

how popular were we before GW?

Your suggestion of 2/3 'populace' may be far fetched. Just because a country's administration hates us doesn't meant that it is the whole country. I know many people in South America. Many support the US and hate their administration.

I take back my former comments. The truly largest, most looming threat to America is . . . .

REALITY TV!!! Especially American Idol . . .

Hope you don't mind me pointing out but I believe you missed the terrorist group Fatah on this list.

Anywho, I would, also, have to go with Hezbolla. Nothing funnier than a well known and an in-your-face terrorist group sitting in the Governors chair flipping the birdie at us. This is like a deer putting a target on themselves and running in front of a hunter and saying "you can't hit me, you can't hit me".

Though I will agree that Iran is in a position to quickly make me change my mind if they manage to get away with this Nuclear fiasco.

When it comes to the countries you listed this is how I see them:

Cuba: Fidel actually makes me laugh, nothing funnier than a guy who's surrounded by water (no where to run), is so close to the US and has a population that would rather face shark infested waters than to live with him, running around his country acting as if he somehow has a nuke shoved up out asses and a trigger in his pocket and saying, while pointing the trigger device at us "come on, I dare you. Come on, come on. What's wrong, scared?"

North Korea: While messing around with nukes, they are too me more of a child looking for attention. A teen looking to be part of the cool people. A guy who wants to be recognized as existing on this planet.

Sudan: Doesn't come up much in the media seems to me more like someone who just doesn't give a dam about anything. Won't even open their mouths much.

Syria: It's like a Cuba but with their buddies just across the border. They act all big and tough till their called out. Then they'll act like they don't know what your talking about.

Iran, now these are people we should keep a close eye on. They seem to like getting everyone mad, including Al-qaeda. Nothing like a guy who wants to fill his plate with having the UN keep a close eye on their obsession over nuclear power, messing with the US in Iraq, getting Al-qaeda mad for supplying their faction, promising to destroy Israel by any means and being buddies with Syria and Hezbolla.

Now that I think about it, Iran may actually be the biggest threat to the world all around.

Now, locally the only thing more dangerous than the Democrats is a Liberal who thinks is a conservative and believes a single man is responsible for the chaos going on in this country. I think someone mentioned him already, I just thought I would point our some of the reasons why he deserves such a position.

I don't but the list was drawn from who American Intelligence thinks belongs on the list of terror groups, I guess Fatah and the old plo just does not cut it anymore.

I must agree that right now it's almost a tie between North Korea and Iran, with Iran having a slight lead.

I wonder how Read and Pelosi are explaining their stellar 14% approval rating? while deriding Bushes 39 % approval rating?

Now this makes me wonder if we should believe in the NIE reports at all considering that they chose not to list Fatah, a known terrorist group that has been on the news lately for fighting with Hezbollah yet they made a nice list of terrorist of which many I had never heard of. I'm starting to think we are not taking this terror threat that serious anymore

Yes, I've seen this before. Pretty interesting. Nobody has been more persecuted and will continue to be so than the Jews. It's all a spiritual battle that will culminate in the Battle of Armageddon. Sadly, it's not even close to being over.

But no matter how often or how hard Israel's enemies come against them, Israel always, always ends up as pall bearers at their funerals. The Jews are still here against all odds. They will continue to be here when all is said and done. To me this is the greatest testimony to the word of God. He said they will be here right up to the end of time. All the other biblical nations are gone or assimilated into other cultures.

How can one small country the size of Israel stay on the map surrounded by so much hatred? God. He has a plan and everything seems to be going according to that plan.

When all is said and done, Israel will be victorious.
