America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~

Yeh now we know I am starting to feel better, I have several bones to pick with the powers that be of Joeuser.

Bitch one, I am getting no where near the points I deserve from comments made on my blogs.Unless someone with a lot of juice is trolling me over and over again I do not get how I can go to bed, with say 100 points, come back the next day see 18 replies on differing articles and still have 100 points!

Bitch two, What do I have to do to get featured? I have not been featured for near six months now. why? I have written several pretty good articles, My one on the Anti-Christ for one and my most recent one on the U.N.

Bitch three. Joeuser is acting wonky as hell, I get cannot connect to server when I am connected and just commented on someone else's article, what's up with that?

BTW, supposedly the site is supposed to be rewritten in .NET which should clean up things a lot. This project is supposed to start in the next few weeks actually.
The original home page system was supposed to be automated. The items that got above a certain threshold of points in the first 24 hours would get featured. But the gaming of the points system meant we'd have to have someone more dedicated to moderating and coding to prevent it.

I thank you for the time, money and effort you and the gang at stardock put into joeuser.

I know I bitch, but heck, It makes things interesting time to time.

Trudy and Little Whip it seems to me your arguing goes on and on - there are no winners in your games

And this is any of your business?

Get between us, sweety, and you'll see who the real loser is.

As for my business, well you are airing your panties in the public, and it is an open forum to users?

The cartoon says what I have to say on the subject i.e fighting, bickering and arguing is pointless.

I will not engage in an argument if you start one because you think I want to come between you or because you might lack good humor. I find life more enjoyable without warring. I therefore try to remain in good humor at all times. I like to smile and I like to laugh and if I can encourage others to do the same, then I do so.

At least ya didn't call me a goy!

(Citizen)little-whipMay 7, 2007 12:47:09

As it happens with ethnic stereotypes for "not one of us" in various cultures, a stereotype of a goy, as expressed in Jewish humor, bears derogatory elements, e.g., as Hillel Halkin writes: "A stereotypical goy acts blindly; a stereotypical Jew thinks before acting," when commenting on skit of Jack Benny: when a mugger comes upon him: "your money or your life", and prods him with the gun, he protests "I'm thinking! I'm thinking!"

Jack Benny could bring me to my knees with laughter with just a look... truly a lost art form with the new comedy.

Jack Benny would have been excoriated for telling such a joke these days, Elie, labeled a racist, bigoted anti-Semite, sued into bankruptcy, and forever shunned from public life.

When did we as a species lose the ability to laugh at ourselves? It IS a funny joke, but since it plays on the stereotype of the money-grubbing Jew, it wouldn't play for today's audiences.

What a sad state of affairs.

(psst, wanna go fer 200 here?)

since Benny is a JEW it might be hard to label him an anti-Semite. although I am sure some liberal organization would die trying.

sure what is the 200$ question

Cat hair? oh some. Not a lot, as she gets groomed everyday. She's pretty silky and sleek right now.

I'm sure she is. But I've also noticed you completely ignored the single question I asked in regards to your beloved pet. You know, the one you were trying to pawn off on your son not three days after you got her. I'll ask the question again---what happened with all that? Did he turn ya down and leave you stuck with something that sheds, meows, and demands food and affection on her own terms rather than yours? Poor trudy!

You seem really obsessed over whether or not my son would like to take Chanel home with him.  First,  I wasn't trying to pawn her off on him.  Those are your words and your take on it.  He's a cat person,  I'm a dyed in the wool dog person,  and we both love most animals.  Dogs shed, bark, need food and water,  and love to get affection too,  on ANY terms.  So whether Chanel sheds, meows, purrs, needs food and water,  just the basic stuff,  including vet care,  is neither her nor there.

My son isn't wanting just yet to take on the responsibilty of ownership of a pet.  If he did want Chanel he could have her as she's already spayed and de-clawed and I'd help him by picking up the vet bills

If he does get a cat,  he'd probably want a kitten,  with blue eyes,  short white hair,  and one he's hand-picked. The last part is my opinion,  nothing more.  However I DO happen to know what he likes in cats as he's pointed those kind out to me before.

I'm sure all SORTS of people do it. I'm equally certain that MANY who do never breathe a word about it, preferring not to toot their own horn

Unlike you and what you did for Nicole and Kathy,  right?

It's been brought up before,  in my defense by others,  that many of the bloggers here talk about their volunteering.  Had you bothered to read ALL of my article about "Jail & Bail Days",  you'd have read about the bldg. that the event was held in,  the history of the town,  and other things I included.  You just grabbed the article and used it to find fault with me.  Many socialites that do good have their pictures in the newspapers,  same for stars,  because their well known faces help sell tickets,  bring in the money for children, and sick adults.  Writing about the American Cancer Society and the "Jail & Bail Days" as I did,  with links to the town's history and location,  explanations of what it is and how it works,  complete with a silly picture of me in a "jail getup" helps to inform the public and maybe even encourage others to want to participate.

Try it sometime,  it's fun and you get to call all your friends to "bail you out of jail",  you can call anyone anywhere,  as long as you raise money for the Cancer Society.

I QUIT my job, remember? Of course you do...and this remark is just another transparent example of your attempts to manipulate public opinion towards me in a detrimental fashion.

Of course I remember you "quit" your job,  after being accuse of ?swearing?  or using inappropriate lanuage? or course you wouldn't do that, right?  I don't have to try to manipulate public opinion towards you, in a detrimental fashion or otherwise.  People that have met you or known you,  even gotten to know you through your writing know what you're about.   Your past speaks for itself.  The past repeats itself,  and we're creatures of habit.  If one wants to know what to expect from someone,  look to their past.  Simple.

I didn't finish high-school...IN high school. I did, however, take my GED the year after I dropped out, and followed that up with 2 years of college. Once again, you demonstrate your manipulativeness with efforts to take a single part of a story and pretend it's the whole story.

I wasn't aware of that,  congrats.  That isn't what you said though, to a blogger that asked us just a year ago what level of education we have....which is the truth?

the fact that I sound just like your older sister is a compliment, and I thank you for it!

Then I would have to say I've pegged you pretty accurately, which demonstrates my amazing insight, my ability to read through the fluff and bullshit and see you for the self-pitying, resentful, and petulant little troll you really are.
I think the people you hung with "back when" taught you well how twist words,  and be a hate monger.

The fact that you sound just like my older sister isn't a compliment,  since you don't know her,  at all,  you wouldn't have any idea from the git go what she's like.

Yep,  I'm made of fluff at times,  least some of the articles I've posted are.  Bullshit?  I haven't lied if that's what you mean.  Don't need to.  Resentful?  Yep at times I've been that.  Not a lot though.  Self-pitying?  Yes I sure have.  You haven't walked a mile in my moccasins so I doubt if you could be empathetic or understanding,  simply because you don't care about me and why would you?

The negative things I TRULY am you haven't seen nor have I written about.  Why would I?  I have to deal with my demons alone.  Troll?  Me a troll?  Naw,  they live in the forest under bridges,  and those that know me,  or care about me,  know better.  As do I.

The folowing are also your words. I wonder which ones you really live by.

"One would hope, however, that by the time we become adults, we put such stereotypes and labels behind, and recognize that each of us participating here in JU has something worthwhile to offer, at least now and then, and none of us wears the exact same hat every single day. We are ALL a drama queen, diva, complainer, antagonizer, speaker of wisdom, hoity toity....depending on the day of the week , our topic, and our mindset when we sit down to write."
