America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
NEW RULES FOR ME AND MY RESPONCES.
Published on September 13, 2006 By Moderateman In Blogging

While this might seem petty in some ways, I have decided to now enforce the following rules.

If I comment with any frequency to a persons blog and never get any responses on mine, I will no longer be commenting on said blog site. I figure if I can respond to someone articles and they do not return the favor, I might read said blog, but responses will become a thing of the past.

Call me a child, but the truth is, this hurts my feelings and to avoid hurt feelings, this is the solution I came up with.

Underneath the brash and bold front I put out there, there is really an unsecure soul that needs to be treated the way I treat others.

While I know that having expectations of being treated the way I treat others is doomed to fail, the vast majority of the time I just cannot help being the insecure creature I am.

So If my responces become scarce on your blog and you are used to seing my name under some responces, look no more, you know what is happening.

At least I am being upfront about this and not leaving you guessing about why ain't moderateman responding to you anymore.

This is more warning that I have gotten and should spare feelings, something I have not been spared of.

In contrast, I'm more likely to engage the ideas of others, by commenting in their articles, than to write a new article of my own.

that's nice I do to, but I think an article of your own is very cool too.

close tat was fat till he got a cat that wore a hat, while wrestling on a mat that built up his lats.

Borrowing from Dr. Seuss, it actually made sense too!

I can't say I blame you Elie. It's not fair in some respects how some will faithfully follow a fellow blogger and get no props in return.

agreed and join the three great minds that think alike, that makes four.

I feel ignored when I leave comments on another person's blog and they don't visit me on my blog at least once in a while....

I see that as just being human trudy and for sure we are human.

Your blog, your rules.

exactly, my life, my rules is more to the point.

Life is too short to spend it feeling put out about something when it's something you can easily remedy.

yep it is very easy to never reply to an article if I choose not to.

Another reason I don't comment on your blog as often as I used to Elie is because you allow certain individuals to do whatever they want to in regards to vicious, off-topic personal attacks, as long as you 'like them' while chastising the rebuttals of those you 'don't like' even though they were attacked first or merely defending an absent friend.

I have already adressed this, with telling people "no more bashing anyone for any reason" on my blog, anyone that does so will have their comment deleted and if they continue, become blacklisted.
