America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~

So after the Boulder Colorado District Attorney and the Boulder police department ruined the lives of Patsy and John Ramsey with a blitz of speculation and veiled accusations, the killer was finally caught.

But it was to late for Patsy who died earlier this year, she died without finding out who killed her child!

This is a perfect Example of how the Police and the MSM ruin peoples lives with innuendo and speculation.

The Ramsey's live for the last 10 years with a shadow cast on them.

Thanks to the insatiable appetite of the Newspaper reporters and newscasters for BLOOD, The world looked at this couple as cold blooded murderers of their only child.

This is what happens when the law does not do their job, they rush to judgement and stop looking for the real killer!

SHAME ON YOU COLORADO DISTRICT ATTORNEY!!SHAME ON YOU COLORADO POLICE!! SHAME ON YOU REPORTERS AND NEWSCASTERS!!

The criminal will be returned from the orient to face trial here in America, He was being held on an unrelated CHILD RAPE CHARGE!

Baker. I stand corrected now that more facts are out there, I am guilty as charged for jumping the gun with this article.

I really, really hope he is the guy, MM. That would mean one less monster out of society and behind bars. Even if he is a monster, though, pinning a crime he didn't do on him just allows another more-deserving monster to go free.

My antagonism was over the top, though. I feel pretty strongly about the Ramsey family, and the whole mood of shaming the people who are critical of them is getting to me. My apologies.

We can both be huge assholes Baker, and when we are passionate about a subject we just let it rip, pretty much like that old saying, "damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead" or something like that.

Apology accepted.

If a kidnapper

That is a BIG difference.

"That is a BIG difference."

Not in the act, not a bit. If anything it is MORE of a betrayal when a parent treats their kid like some piece of property at an auction. There is no breach of faith involved when a criminal exploits a child. You and Gid don't want to admit it, but parents have a legal obligation to do all that is reasonable to protect their children.

Primping them like whores and teaching them to dance for the pedophile public, at least in most people's minds, isn't reasonable in the least. Most of us are teaching our kids how to avoid sexual predators, yet we are supposed to feel bad about condemning people who teach their kids to be bait for them? Hardly.

Hold on, Baker! Now you're putting words in my mouth. I NEVER said I condoned the Ramseys' child beauty pageant fixation. I think it's a sickness, but it's one that is not confined to the Ramseys.

I had a friend who accidentally found out about the child beauty pageant circuit. He had a daughter that was cute, and hammed it up real good, so he and his wife wanted to get her involved with beauty pageants. But when they went to a couple pageants, and got blown away by the "pros", they were disgusted at what they saw. 4 year old girls wearing $2000 dresses for mommy and daddy's egoes.

But the Ramseys did not deserve what happened to them, regardless. Yes, they could have prevented it, and yes, putting their daughter on display like that was a foolish thing to do. But they already paid a heavy price for that, now, didn't they?

For crying out loud, Baker, I don't even let my girls play with BARBIE dolls because I don't like the image they portray! I guarantee I can "out prude" you any day.
on Aug 19, 2006
No, no, gid. I'm not saying you are in favor of the child beauty pagent thing. I know, though, that in about every case I've seen you discuss, you think the government should butt out and things should be left to the parents. I think that is true in most cases, but to be honest I think what a lot of stage parents and parents like Patsy Ramsey put their children through is over the top.

I referenced you more concerning the idea that not only do we have a moral obligation, but we have a LEGAL obligation. Doc has used the short skirt and rape example, but that's personal responsibility. No matter what kind of situation a woman puts herself in, she isn't legally liable for anything that happens to her. Parents who endanger children, though, are definately liable for the harm that comes to them.

Re: they could have prevented it, I'm not sure. It may after all have been a case like the mormon family in Utah where it was just a very wacko situation they couldn't have done anything about. I still believe, though, that when you look at the ransom note, etc., it's hard to believe they weren't a party to it, knowingly or not.

Maybe some sort of edit is advisable now that the DNA doesn't match and he's not even gong to be charged. Also, I can't find anything that says he was being held on unrelated child rape charges. All the reports I have found say he was held on suspicion of the Ramsey murder and tossed out of the country as undesirable because of his California kiddie porn warrant.

Kudos for removing the other false information, though.

I really wish he was the killer...just so we could FINALLY put this all to bed.

He should do jail time for the false police report though.
on Aug 29, 2006
Dunno how that would work. I guess he could be convicted of lying to the police, but he didn't really officially confess to anything as it is my understanding. He said that he was with her when she died, and that it was an accident, but I don't think he ever admitted to killing her, did he?

Regardless, he's a nut, and he'd get off as such. One can only hope they get the child porn thing to stick.

got a free ride back to the states

I hope they make him repay the money.....if we are going to charge US citizens in Lebanon for the expense of evacuating them...why not this dirt bag?

yes it is,,and you are 100% guilty of that as well...nothin like the pot callin the kettle black.

The criminal will be returned from the orient to face trial here in America, He was being held on an unrelated CHILD RAPE CHARGE!

this part wasn't even true...he was able to be brought back here bacause of an unrelated "posession of child pornography" misdemeanor charge. a charge btw, because of all the screw-ups, he's probably gonna get out of, unfortunately.

get your facts straight slanderman.

ps,,,don't take this as me defending anything to do with any kiddie porn, pedophiles and the like...my problem here is with the irresponsible "journalism" goin on here which happens way too often, especially on your blog.
