America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
Every morning same thing.

I woke-up this morning, sober and drug free.

I know where my car was.

I knew I had committed no crime {drunk driving, brawling}

I knew the lady in bed with me was my wife, NOT YOURS!

I pray that I bring no violence to anyone's life and pray no one brings violence to mine.

I ask God for the strength to get through another day, clean and sober.

I get out of bed, staring in wonder that this lady in bed with me is mine.

I holler for the cats and rough them both up till they are purring like little motorcycles.

I think how blessed my life is.

I start the day, grateful.

The secret of hapiness in life to be content with who you are grasshopper.

Those who do not find that, are always trying to be who they are not.

Green is good.

This is my favorite thing you've written Moderateman.

Succinct, insightful, and beautifully worded.

I could tell you about my mornings, but I might ruin your high-on-life buzz, haha.

On weekdays I stumble out of bed still pretty much asleep at 6AM. I stumble outside to feed my birds and then come back in and try to wake up for the next hour....then in a slight sleepy haze I drive to school. I am not a morning person.......weekends are usually the same...except I sleep till 8 or so....

Wish I had your mornings, though...they sound so, pleasant.

In the words of the comedian, Hugh Fink:

"For a while, I was high on life!...but then I built up a tolerance. It took two, three days...up to a week to get the same high"

Ah...good stuff, better if you hear it, though.
