America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
Now it's Alcee Hastings spewing hate
Published on September 25, 2008 By Moderateman In Politics

This is a cut and paste article from Fox news. I did this to show how low the left will continue to stoop to divide the already divided country. The left will spread hatred and inflame racial passions pitting one man or woman against another just because of the color of their skin or the religion they follow. Once again we get to see the kind of people the left is chock full of dividers NOT people that will unite as they claim. All the while pointing out how Bush has divided the country {he has} but as usual the left denounces the very thing they are doing themselves. Hypocrites? thy name be Democrats. I have inserted some of my own comments into the body of the article.

Florida Rep. Alcee Hastings on Wednesday warned two minority groups to beware of Sarah Palin because “anybody toting guns and stripping moose don’t care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks.” {Sure Alcee anyone that would hunt for moose would obviously hunt for big nose Heb's and Niggers} {I wonder where do you get your license from?}

Hastings, who is black and a Democrat, made the comment in Florida at a panel discussion hosted by the National Jewish Democratic Council. The group recently criticized Palin’s invitation to an anti-Iran rally held during Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinajad’s visit to New York to speak before the U.N. General Assembly.{ Just an invitation got all this vitriol?  Well then Alcee I would like to INVITE YOU TO A KU KLUX KLAN RALLY AS THE GUEST SPEAKER and the topic will be  "WHITE SUPREMACY"}

Hastings was explaining what he intended to tell his Jewish constituents about the presidential race.

“If Sarah Palin is not enough of a reason for you to get over whatever your problem is with Barack Obama, then you damn well had better pay attention,” Hastings told the audience, which burst into laughter and applause, according to individuals present. " wild laughter from the left about hatred"!!!!!!

Palin spokeswoman Maria Comella declined to comment. The Republican Jewish Coalition strongly condemned Hastings’ statements. {Maybe now the Jews will wake up and start voting Republican}

“Rep. Hastings stooped to the worst kind of divisive politics yesterday,” RJC Executive Director Matt Brooks said in a written statement. “Hastings’ unconscionable remarks do nothing but sow seeds of fear and divide people. There should be no place in our country for this sort of political discourse. We can constructively disagree on the issues without denigrating others.”

Other members of the panel were Tennessee Rep. Steve Cohen, who is Jewish and represents a mostly black district; Alabama congressman Arthur Davis, who is black; and Peter Edelman, a law professor at Georgetown University who was a legislative assistant to Robert Kennedy.

Davis denounced Hastings’ comments.

“Alcee Hastings is a friend and I know Alcee well enough to know that he uses provocative humor to make a point. In this instance, however, I did not like his comments when I heard them and they don’t sound any better reading them in print,” he said in a written statement sent foxnews.com.

“I have repeatedly said that while Sarah Palin’s ideology and her thin resume are legitimate issues, it is a great mistake for Democrats to ridicule her cultural roots,” Davis added. “I don’t know how many Americans strip moose, but a lot of the ones I know tote guns and the Democratic Party had better win enough of those gun toter's if we are to be successful.”

Hastings, a former federal judge, was impeached and removed from the bench in 1989 for perjury and corruption. Elected to Congress in 1992, he supported Hillary Clinton during the primaries until she conceded the race. {How does a morally bankrupt and ethically bereft get to serve as a congressman? Only the Democratic party could take this evil man in as one of their own}

Historically, Jews have overwhelmingly voted Democratic, but the McCain campaign is vigorously courting that constituency as Obama has fought off false Internet rumors that he is a Muslim with an anti-Jewish agenda.

Obama also came under fire in April for describing small-town Americans during a closed San Francisco fundraiser as people who are “bitter” over job losses and who “cling to their guns and religion.”

Hastings’ office and the Obama campaign did not immediately respond for this story.{ Of course they have nothing to say, as this is how they really feel, hatred is the mantra of the secular left}

IT is getting ridiculous.  They have used the race card in the past, but this year they are just over the top.

No one else is playing the race card ... they probably realize someone has to play it before it (race) becomes a moot point..

Moot Point! ... danger Will Robinson!

I have always contended there is no low, low enough for the democrats to stoop to to win the white house, this is just one more showing of how low they are.

I guess the democratic stratigy included the republicans playing the race card. Since they have not, the democrats have played it themselves, hoping their blind sheep followers will blame the right for it.

Why is it no longer surprising that no one in the media seems to be calling this piece of work out on this?  This is fundamental racism but I don't think we'll see Sharpton or Jackson on this issue.

If anything this is MORE of a reason to NOT vote for Obama.

Nope we will not, according to the new liberal dictionary Racism is only when white person does or says or hints anything about a black or Latino, Else wise it is just "black outrage at the "white man holding them down" I Have seen so many example of Black on white racism in this campaign never get any mention, but if a white said any of the things the blacks have said they would be strung up from the nearest tree.

Yes, we will see them a lot - on November 5th.  They have been told to sit down and shut up.

It's really bad and it seems the more desparate the Left becomes the worse and more vicious, their  rhetoric gets. By these remarks, Hastings has revealed how little he and Liberal Dems think of the American people and how highly they rate themselves and Obama. To them,  Obama's voting record including supporting infanticide of born alive infants from  botched abortions, his associations with William Ayers (Stanley Kurtz is getting truth out), and his coziness with the corrupt Chicago political machine cannot possibly be legitimate reasons to vote against Obama.

To Hastings, Racism is all there is and this article proves it beyond a shadow of doubt. Mark my words ...the Leftist media will be singing:  If Obama wins, the media will shout that America has finally shed its racial past....and...if Obama loses, we're a nation of racists.

Please don't use a rogue democrat to paint a picture of the entire party. This is not how all liberals or all democrats think.

Good point! But when they let it pass or make no mention of it in their media outlets, they are passively condoning it. Either your for equality or against it, not just when it suits the propose.

Both sides have their lunatics.  The problem is not in who is saying it, but in who is not being denounced for saying it!

The problem is when a righty says something as mean and outrageous as this, it gets front page news and the left screams bloody murder. But when a lefty does the same, nothing gets said and there is no one from the left really condemning it.

Goes with that saying about "for evil to succeed, good men just do nothing" something like that.
