America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~

While I find the man himself an interesting character be he for real or just made up stories for the masses. The message left from the stories about him are indeed good ones, love thy neighbor, be of good character, be humble, Etc!

While the deeds done in his name have not followed any of his teachings, The inquisition, the crusades, the discrimination of the Jews; the huge split among the Christians themselves into many, many fractions, all of them believing theirs is the only way to G-ds door! what Bullshit!

I have seen so many articles on Jesus, none of them can even agree with themselves, each Christian having their own view on how Jesus wants them to be! If Jesus exists he is pulling his hair out in shame at how Christians behave.

The seventh Day adventist declares the southern baptists is a heretic, the Catholic says the Apostolic is nuts and on and on!

Please stoPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No one knows for sure if Jesus is the son of G-d for SURE! Stop saying he is!

And there we go!

As a Jew I think all Christians are heretics. Hows that for narrow minded?

lol...I come from a largely LDS area at the moment, and I have to tell you something:  While I don't necessarily agree with all their theology, most of the Mormon families I've met are very cohesive and love and take care of their children, AND their neighbors, like no other people I've known.  I don't know many other churches who actually actively encourage their congregants to go out into the community and preach the gospel.

What it comes down to is we can learn alot from each other.  I don't think God would want us to say "Oh, I'm Evangelical Free, and I think those Baptists are morons because they're different from me."  I think He'd much rather we looked at supporting one another as Christian brothers and sisters rather than nitpicking our differences.

Okay.  Sorry.  I'm done now.

I was an Adventist and I have a very good friend who is.  We agree on alot of things including who Jesus is.

I agree with many other denominations when it comes to the person of Christ.  I may not believe in some of their side issues, but the essentials are what is most important anyhow.

Wonderful comment!!!! My sentiments exactly Marcie

With the times spent trashing one another ALL the religions could be spending time in brother and sisterhood In G-D instead of all the Bullshit!

Wish I could take credit for thinking this up, but I found it elsewhere online and cannot:

I was walking across a bridge one day, and I saw a man standing on the edge,
about to jump off. So I ran over and said "stop! don't do it!"

"Why shouldn't I?" he said.

I said, "Well, there's so much to live for!"

He said, "Like what?"

I said, "Well...are you religious or atheist?"

He said, "Religious."

I said, "Me too! Are you Christian or Buddhist?"

He said, "Christian."

I said, "Me too! Are you Catholic or Protestant?"

He said, "Protestant."

I said, "Me too! Are you Episcopalian or Baptist?"

He said, "Baptist!"

I said, "Wow! Me too! Are you Baptist Church of God or Baptist Church of the Lord?"

He said, "Baptist Church of God!"

I said, "Me too! Are you original Baptist Church of God, or are you Reformed
Baptist Church of God?"

He said, "Reformed Baptist Church of God!"

I said, "Me too! Are you Reformed Baptist Church of God, reformation of 1879,
or Reformed Baptist Church of God, reformation of 1915?"

He said, "Reformed Baptist Church of God, reformation of 1915!"

I said, "Die, heretic scum", and pushed him off.

That is a matter of faith just like belief in God or as I like to call him (see I still think of God as a him)  father/mother/God - how is that for heretical?

Roylevosh - that was hilarious.

To answer your question: yes, I am sick and tired of these articles.  I'm also over the techno-geek and liberal bashing articles but everyone has a right to write what they want here.  It is a personal blog site, after all.

Having said this, I agree with your take on the confusion of Christianity.  Can you imagine what might happen if they all decided to agree with each other and form a single church.  The rest of us wouldn't stand a chance (For the dense - I am trying to be funny).

I agree MM... It would be great if Drag could install a Jesus filter

on Jul 15, 2008
actually MM I'd say no to your question. I could talk about Jesus all day long....

But hafta say...Roy that was funny!

Christianity isn't all that confusing if you're a Christian. I met a Nazarene on the plane last week and we hit it off. He was at least 20 years older than I. I've never been a Nazarene but our spirits united and bore witness of one another. The problem is there are many groups out there that claim they are Christian and they're simply not. That's what makes it confusing to a non-Christian.

Not bad. You only target one sect!

Actually, if you call yourself Christian, and don't have any additions to the Bible since the early Church (third-hand accounts, around 200 AD, give or take), I don't consider you heretical. It's not a solid law, but it's more or less how I interpret it.

And I don't try to kill the heretics. I try to convert them.

OH GOOD CRAP YES STOP WITH THE RELIGIOUS ARTICLES ALREADY

I haven't seen an article actually worth thought and comment in the last two days.
